"Why The Sabbath" Text

Why the Sabbath? The Lord set the seventh day apart in Genesis 2:2-3. He blessed and sanctified the seventh day. They were still in the Garden of Eden. There was no Israel then. That was long before Jacob whose name was changed to Israel. When Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt a mixed multitude went with them. The Sabbath was Commanded by the Lord. The Lord called the Sabbath His Sabbath. (Exodus 20:10) Yeshua (Jesus) said He is Lord of the Sabbath. (Mark 2:28, Matthew 12:8, Luke 6:5) Yeshua (Jesus) never broke the Sabbath. The Disciples honored the Sabbath. I want to honor the Lord so I will continue to honor His Sabbath.
