"What Does The Bible Say" Text
What does the Bible say about creation? What does the Bible say about life? What does the Bible say about gender? What does the Bible say about family? What does the Bible say about relationships? What does the Bible say about salvation? What does the Bible say about the crucifixion and resurrection? Yeshua (Jesus) was crucified and rose again. I completely believe that. What does the Bible say about the events and timeline of the week Yeshua (Jesus) was crucified? What does the Bible say about Holy Days and holidays? What does the Bible say about any specific day? What does the Bible say about worship? What does the Bible say about sin? What does the Bible say about the traditions we keep? The Bible is the Word of God. The Bible is the Ultimate Authority. What does the Bible say about every area of life? We need to look into that.

"What Does The Bible Say part 2" Text
We are taught so many wrong things today. We need to remember the people that are preaching and teaching are human. They are not perfect. They teach what they learned. Many teach from wrong understanding. Many often teach what is based on tradition. Hopefully, it is not their intention to teach the wrong things. No matter how good they seem we need to make sure what they teach lines up with what the Bible says. We cannot just accept what people do, say, and teach. We have to read the Word. We often have to do a little research to help us understand. Whatever the subject, what does the Bible say on it?

"The Whole Bible Is Important" Text
We need the Old Testament and the New Testament. The Whole Bible is important. The Old Testament gives us God's Law. His Law is still very important. His Days are still important. God's Law shows us the right way to live. We cannot be perfect but we can aim to honor the Lord that gave us life. The Old Testament points to the New Testament. The Old Testament helps us better understand the New Testament. There are many Old Testament Prophecies that Yeshua (Jesus) fulfilled. I will list some. (Genesis 49:10; Luke 3:33; 2 Samuel 7:12–13; Matthew 1:1; Isaiah 7:14; Luke 1:35; Psalm 78:1–2; Matthew 13:34–35; Isaiah 9:1–2; Matthew 4:12–17; Isaiah 53:3; Luke 4:28–29; Psalm 22:1; Matthew 27:46; Psalm 22:16; John 19:36–37; Psalm 118:17–18; Luke 24:5–7) There are more but I am not going to list them all here. Yeshua (Jesus) claimed and showed He was God. I shared more about that in my last message. But for this message I will just say John 8:58. "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." John 14:6. The Old Testament and the New Testament are needed for right living. The Whole Bible is God's Word.

"Base Our Understanding" Text
So many read the Bible but base their understanding on the understanding of others. Some don't even read the Bible for themselves. We are all flawed people. What if the understanding of someone else is wrong? What if their understanding is way off? What if others are trying to deceive us? Usually when people teach us wrong it is because their understanding is wrong. Well, I'm hoping that is usually the case. We can't base our understanding of God's Word on people with limited understanding. The Lord is not limited. When we don't understand part of the Bible, it is because of our limited understanding. It is so important that we read the Bible for ourselves. Make sure what we are taught lines up with God's Word. If it doesn't, we may need to do a little research. When we don't understand what the Word says, it is always good to do a little research. Research can be a search on-line. Or it can be much more. The important thing is to not base our understanding of the Bible on the understanding of others. I'm not saying others can't help us understand. I'm not saying others won't teach us right. I'm just saying the Bible has to be the Ultimate Authority. The Lord is the Ultimate Teacher.

"Tell Me Where It Says" Text
Read Leviticus 23. Tell me where it says the feasts and festivals are for one group only. I see "feasts of the LORD", "my set feasts", and "appointed feasts of the LORD.". I see "It is a Sabbath to the LORD". From my understanding, these are the Lord's Holy Days. The Sabbath and all these Holy Days are commanded for anyone that follows the Lord. Tell me where it says Yeshua (Jesus) was crucified on a Friday. The Bible does not say He was on the cross before the weekly seventh day Sabbath. In John 19:31 I see "(for that Sabbath was a special one)". The first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread is a High Sabbath. It is a special Sabbath. (Leviticus 23:7) A special Sabbath can be any day of the week. Tell me where the Bible says Yeshua (Jesus) rose on Sunday. The women went to the tomb Sunday morning. But the Bible does not say He just rose. The Bible says He had risen. I can think of more examples that differ from the understanding of many. My understanding is limited. There is a lot I don't understand. But the logic of many makes no sense to me. If you can explain it in a way that makes sense and is true to the Word of God, I will listen. The Bible is my Guide. Who or what is your guide?  Think about it.

"Three Days And Three Nights" Text
In Matthew 12:40, Yeshua (Jesus) said "For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the huge fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth." He said three days and three nights. Did He lie? No! Was He wrong? No! I do believe in the crucifixion of Yeshua (Jesus). I do believe in the resurrection of Yeshua (Jesus). Let us look at some Scriptures (Luke 22:13-15; Mark 14:26, 39-41; Mark 14:53; Mark 15:1; Mark 15:25; Mark 15:33; Mark 15:34, 37; John 19:31; Mark 15:42-47; Mark 16:1; Luke 23:56; Luke 24:1; Luke 24:2-3). Let us go based on the Scriptures. Not on tradition.

"Truth Is Truth" Text
Truth is truth. Opinions do not change the truth. Feelings do not change the truth. Beliefs do not change the truth. What is popular does not change the truth. God's Word tells us the Truth. The Bible teaches us what is right. We may not always like it but that does not change it. There are many opinions. There are a lot of feelings. There are a lot of beliefs. There is a lot that is popular and a lot that is unpopular. There is only One Complete Truth. We find That Truth is God's Word, the Bible.

"Still Don't Think He Said He Is God" Text
For those that say Yeshua (Jesus) did not say He is God, read John 4:25-26. To me, that is very clear. He said it in John 8:58 as well. Yeshua (Jesus) showed He is God. He said He is God. But nowhere is it more clear than in John 4:26. "Jesus said to her, “I am he, the one who speaks to you.” "Still don't think He said He is God? To me, He obviously did.

"What did the Lord tell us" Text
Yeshua (Jesus) said "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 7:21) It is easy to say He is Lord. It is easy to say we believe. It is easy to say we follow Him. Talk is cheap. Words mean nothing if the actions do not line up. Yeshua (Jesus) said "Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and don’t do the things which I say?" (Luke 6:46) Yeshua (Jesus) said "If you love me, keep my commandments." (John 14:15) How many call Him Lord but do things their own way? How many say He is Lord but do not keep His Commandments? We all fall short. We all fail at times. But are we even trying? Are we trying to do the Will of the Father? We cannot do things just because others do it. What does the Bible say? What did the Lord tell us? Think about Matthew 7:21, Luke 6:46, and John 14:15. It is not too late to change if we are on the wrong path. "Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men." (Matthew 12:31) "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9) Think about this. As long as we are breathing, it is not too late.

"The Sabbath is Biblical" Text
The Sabbath is Biblical. The Lord blessed the seventh day in Genesis 2:3. In Exodus 20:8, the Lord said to remember the Sabbath day. Remembering the Sabbath day was not only told to the Israelites. There were a "mixed multitude" of non-Israelites that came out of Egypt with the Israelites. In Leviticus 23:3, the Lord called the Sabbath "a Sabbath to the LORD". Jesus said He is the Lord of the Sabbath in Mark 2:27-28, Matthew 12:8, and Luke 6:5. Luke 4:16 shows Jesus honored the Sabbath. Acts 18:4 shows Paul honored the Sabbath. The Father never changed the Sabbath. Jesus never changed the Sabbath. (Matthew 5:17-18) Paul never changed the Sabbath. The Apostles never changed the Sabbath. The Sabbath is the Lord's Sabbath. The Lord never changed His Commandments. It is good to Worship and Praise the Lord every day. It is important to read His Word and learn about the Lord every day. But it is important to honor the Lord on His Days. His Commanded Days are in Leviticus 23.

"Watch What We Say" Text
What we say is not harmless. Words are not just words. Words can hurt. Words can harm. Even if our words don't hurt others, they may hurt us. I do not understand why so many say cuss words like they are all right. (Colossians 3:8; Matthew 15:11; Ephesians 4:29; James 3:10) I will not say I have never cussed. I will not say things do not slip out when I am angry. But I do not use cussing as my regular speech. I will never understand why so many say God or Jesus so casually. The Lord is not a swear word. The Lord said He will not hold anyone guiltless that uses His Name in vain. (Exodus 20:7) I am not saying we cannot be forgiven. But so many seem to think it is okay to use the Creator as a swear word. We all get angry. Things sometimes slip out. When they do, we need to ask for forgiveness with a sincere heart. Rumors hurt. Gossip is harmful. Did you know the Lord does not like gossip? (Proverbs 11:13; Proverbs 20:19; Romans 1:29; 2 Corinthians 12:20; 1 Timothy 5:13; 2 Thessalonians 3:11) We really do need to watch what we say. We need to be careful. All of us have said wrong things at some point. Does it make us feel bad when we do?
