So many talk about the Lord too casually. Believers are also guilty of some of this. Do you think it is innocent to say oh my? You know what usually comes after that. Do you think it is innocent to use the Lord as a swear word? Do you think it is innocent to swear on God? The answer to all these is no. The Lord is the Creator of everything and everyone. He is High Above us. How can we talk in ways that are disrespectful of Him? Sometimes things slip out when we are angry. I am guilty of that. But I quickly feel guilty and ask the Lord to forgive me. Many talk these ways but do not even feel guilty. How can this be for people that call themselves believers? When we talk about the Lord it should be in respectful ways. We should never talk about Him casually, thoughtlessly, or disrespectfully. We need to realize every breath we take is thanks to Him. Every heartbeat is thanks to our Lord. We also need to be careful not to say the Lord said something that He did not say. We will not be considered innocent of any of this. We can be forgiven if we ask for forgiveness with a sincere heart. God knows if we are sincere.
