"We Are Sinners But We Can Be Forgiven" Text

We are sinners but we can be forgiven. Each and every  one has sinned. (Romans 3:23; Ecclesiastes 7:20; 1 John 1:8) We sinned before we even knew what sin was. Sin is the transgression of God's Law. (1 John 3:4) None of us are without sin. Even if we are true followers of the True God, we still sin. We feel bad but we still sin. Hopefully not in the same ways as before we were followers. Everything and everyone has been corrupted by that first sin. That's the bad news. The good news is we can be forgiven. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9)  God gives us mercy we do not deserve. The only sin that cannot be forgiven is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 12:31-32; Mark 3:28-29; Luke 12:10) From my understanding, that sin has to be intentional. If we worry that we committed that sin, it is very doubtful that we did. According to the Bible, all other sins can be forgiven. We have to realize we sinned. We have to ask the Lord for forgiveness with a sincere heart. He knows if we are sincere. We should repent and ask for forgiveness every day because we fall short every day. Sins can be in things we thought, said, did, or did not do. We all do sin but we can be forgiven. Thank the Lord for His Love and Mercy.
