"Truth Or Tradition" Text

Do we go by truth or do we go by tradition? I am not saying all tradition is bad. I am not saying all tradition is wrong. But are we led by truth or are we led by tradition? God's Word is Truth. Man's word is tradition. If it comes from the Bible, it is Truth. If it does not come from the Bible, it is either tradition or it is completely wrong. Truth says the seventh day is Holy. God calls it His Sabbath. Tradition says the first day is holy. Truth lists Biblical Holy Days that the Lord commanded for His followers. The Bible does have two holidays that the Lord did not command but if they are in the Bible I consider them Biblical. God would not have let them in His Word if He did not want us to celebrate those holidays. Any holiday not in the Bible is tradition. I am not saying all the traditional holidays are wrong but they are tradition. I still believe in a few not Biblical holidays. Thanksgiving is one I believe in. This is not just about holidays. A lot of what we do is based on traditions. A lot of traditions that people think are okay are really not okay. Do we honor God's Truth or man's tradition? Do we honor man's tradition even if God's Word says it is wrong? I do honor some traditions but not if they go against God's Truth. Many may not understand why I do or don't do certain things. I'm okay with that. I want to follow the Lord in all I do. I want to get better at that.
