"The Bible Does Not Say" Text

The Bible does not say that Jesus is a created being. The Bible says all things were created through Jesus. (John 1:3; Colossians 1:16-17) The Bible does not say Jesus could be tempted. The Bible says Jesus is without sin. (Hebrews  4:15) The Bible does not say Jesus was crucified on a Friday and was resurrected on a Sunday. The Bible says Jesus rose exactly three days later. (Matthew 12:39-40; John 19:31; Acts 10:40; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4) The Bible does not say that the Sabbath or the Holy Days were for one religion. God calls the Sabbath His Sabbath and the Holy Days His Feast Days. (Exodus 31:13; Isaiah 58:13; Ezekiel 20:12, 19-20) The Bible does not say any part of His Commandments were done away with. The Bible says until Heaven and Earth pass away no part of the Commandments would be done away with. (Matthew 5:17-19) The Bible does not sanctify the first day of the week. The Bible sanctifies the seventh day of the week (Genesis 2:2-3) The Bible does say we are saved by grace but the Bible does not say we do not have to do anything after we are saved. We cannot earn salvation but we cannot live any way after we are saved. We have to more than believe. We have to obey and follow. (Luke 6:46; Matthew 7:21-23; James 2:18-19) The Bible does not say believers go straight to Heaven. The Bible says those in the grave know nothing. Jesus will raise His followers when He comes back.(1 Thessalonians 4:13-15; Ecclesiastes 9:5) He is coming back soon but I do not know how soon. (2 Peter 3:9) These are some of the teachings I have heard that do not go by the Bible. The Bible has been proven to be the Word of the True God. The Hebrew Word for God in Genesis 1:1 and Lord in Deuteronomy 6:4 is Elohim. Elohim is a plural noun. The One that became Jesus is the One that is God in the Old Testament. (1 Corinthians 10:4) If we truly want to follow the True God, we have to follow His Ways. We can be forgiven when we slip up if we sincerely ask for His Forgiveness. (1 John 1:9) Let us always remember to check the teachings of people against the Word of God, the Bible.
