"Test All Teaching" Text

Do we live by our own rules? Where did we get these rules? Do we live by the rules of others? Where did they get their rules? This message is not about any specific rules. Do we believe in God? There is proof that He is real. There is proof that Jesus is God. There is proof that the Bible is real. We will find these proofs if we look with an open mind. The Bible is the Word of God. Do we read the Bible for ourselves? Or do we trust the teachings of others? We need to test all teachings against the Bible. It does not matter who is teaching. It does not matter where we read the teaching. We need to test all teaching against the Bible. We need to examine all teaching against the Bible. If we do not test the teachings, we can easily be misled.  So many are misled on so many things. Any teaching that is against what the Lord teaches in His Word is wrong. Seeming right to us does not make it right. Seeming wrong to us does not always make it wrong. Test it with the Word of our Lord. The Lord speaks to us through His Word, the Bible. Are we paying attention? Test All teaching. Read the Bible and pray for guidance.
