"Study To Show Ourselves Approved" Text

Doesn't the Bible say study to show ourselves approved? (2 Timothy 2:15) Do we actually do that? How many of us just listen to what we are taught? How many of us just go by what we grew up knowing? What is their understanding of the Bible? Do we know? We can't assume anything. You know what others say. Do you know what God says? We need to read His Word. Sometimes we have to do some research outside the Bible to learn more. If we truly follow Christ, let us do as His Word says. Let us study at least a little. We have to know His Word to know if others are teaching us wrong.
