I started the 'spoken word' messages because I strongly felt the Lord was leading me to. I know it was not my idea. I never would have thought about recording messages to share on YouTube. That was how this started. The messages started with 'my sort of testimony'. Then I had a couple messages about my health and how my writing started. After that, the messages were about reaching out to the depressed and the hurting. I feel the Lord wants me to use my pain to help others get through their pain. Situations may be completely different but the pain may be the same. The messages started being about the Lord. This 'spoken word' ministry (I consider it ministry) started this year. It started with an idea that I did not even know how to start. It branched out. Most of the messages are to reach out to the hurting or to share about the Lord. I can go days without any messages. Some days I write several in a day. I do not decide what to write and when. I go with the ideas. Some messages may be less popular with people. I am trying to please the Lord. I do hope some of the messages comfort, encourage, and inspire.
