"Sin Is" Text

What is sin? How seriously do we take sin? Think about that for a moment. Anything that is against what the Bible says is sin. Sin is anything that goes against God's Holy Law. The Bible is God's Word. The Bible is full of the Lord's Commands. What we say can be sin. What we think can be sin. What we listen to can be sin. The list goes on. Anything we do or don't do can be sin. We can also sin by something we don't do. Everything needs to be compared to what the Bible says. The Bible is right. We are often wrong. We all sin. No matter how great we think we are, we all sin. We have all sinned. Anyone that says they never sin and have never sinned is a liar. There was only One sinless Person ever and we are not Him. We need to recognize what sin is. We need to admit we sin. We cannot be forgiven until we recognize and admit our sin. We can be forgiven. Do we admit our sin? Do we make excuses or try to justify our sin? Do we feel bad knowing we sinned? To know what sin is, read God's Word. If we honestly are sorry for our sins, let us ask the Lord for His Forgiveness. We are not guaranteed even one more second. We need to seriously think about this.
