“How Do You Deal With It" Text

How do you deal with it when the pain is overwhelming? Physical and emotional pain are both hard to deal with. But how do you deal with it when it seems like the pain is never-ending? What if it is getting worse and not better? How do you deal with it? I am not sure I am the best to answer that but this is the message the Lord put in my head. I know one thing. It starts with the decision to keep going. Giving up is not an option. It is not wrong to cry when it feels too much. It is good to release our feelings before our feelings explode. It is also good to have safe escape mechanisms. My writing is an escape mechanism and a venting tool. There are many safe ways to temporarily escape. Talking to someone that cares is also helpful. People say the Lord will not give you more than you can handle. That is not Biblical. 1 Corinthians 10:13 says the Lord will not let us be tempted more than we can handle. The Lord never promised things would not be more than we can handle. But He did promise He would always be there. (Matthew 28:20; Hebrews 13:5) How do we deal with pain that is overwhelming and never-ending? Take it moment by moment. Cry when you need to. Escape in safe ways. Talk to a person you trust. And never forget to talk to the Lord.
