"How Do We Serve The Lord" Text

Do you believe in the True God? Do you follow Him? Do you want to serve Him? Do you ever wonder how we can serve Him? What can I possibly do? What impact can I make? Do you ever think that? We do not have to make a huge impact to make an impact? The first way we serve the Lord is by following Him. Believing in Him is not enough. We honor the Lord when we obey what He taught us. Obedience to the Lord is one way that we serve Him. Jesus said if we love Him keep His Commandments. (John 14:15) Jesus also said what we do for the least of His brothers we do for Him. (Matthew 25:35-40) When we visit a sick friend, we are serving the Lord. When we give to someone that has less, we are serving the Lord. When we help feed someone, we are serving the Lord. We should never give to be known. We should not help others so people can know what we did. But when we help others, we are serving the Lord. We should use the gifts the Lord gave us to help others. (Galatians 5:13) The Lord gave me the gift of writing. I try to use my writing to inspire others. I hope to comfort others the way my writing comforts me. Micah 6:8 says the Lord wants us to act justly and to love mercy. We are to walk humbly with our God. There are many ways to serve our Lord. Even if no one knows what we do, the Lord knows. Another way we serve the Lord is to spread His Message. Share about the Bible. Share about the Father and the Son.  Share about the True Message of Jesus. We do not have to be experts to share about the Lord. We just have to be sincere. Share His Truth. These are just some ideas. Talk to the Lord. He will help lead you to ways that you can serve Him.
