"How Do I Pray For Others" Text
How do I pray for others when I need a lot of prayer for myself? Should I only focus on my pain? I don't think so. I think my suffering makes me feel for others. I know what it feels like to be miserable physically and emotionally. I sympathize with others that are suffering. I often may not know what to say to the person. That never means I am not praying for them. I don't have to know the details of what a person is going through. The Lord knows all the details. I believe it is important to pray for everyone every day. Even if we are mad at that person. Even if that person hurt us badly. Even if that person is no longer in our life. As long as people are alive, we should always pray for them. Never pray out of anger or hurt. Never pray anything bad toward anyone. We should pray for those we know. But it is good to pray for those we don't know. I pray for the sick, the suffering, the hurting, the lost, the missing, the hopeless, the helpless, and the grieving every day. I pray for those I know and those I don't know.
