"His Commands" Text

Do you think the Ten Commandments were nailed to the cross? Do you think Jesus did everything perfectly so we don't have to do things? Does that make sense? If the Ten Commandments were nailed to the cross does that mean we can do whatever we want? If there is no Law then we have no sin because sin is transgression of the Law. If we have no sin we do not need a Savior. Did Jesus suffer and die for nothing? Do you believe that? "If you love me, keep my commandments." (John 14:15) What Commandments do you think Jesus was referring to? If Jesus is God (He is) then the Commandments are His Commandments. "Do we then nullify the law through faith? May it never be! No, we establish the law." (Romans 3:31) "Therefore the law indeed is holy, and the commandment holy, righteous, and good." (Romans 7:12) "This is how we know that we know him: if we keep his commandments." (1 John 2:3) "he who says he remains in him ought himself also to walk just like he walked." (1 John 2:6) Does that sound like the Commandments do not apply anymore? God does not change. (Numbers 23:19; Psalm 102:27; Psalm 119:89; Isaiah 40:8; Malachi 3:6; Hebrews 13:8) So why would we think His Holy Law changed? I see no evidence in His Word, the Bible, that He changed His Law. Customs do not apply to everyone but God's Commandments apply to all of God's followers. If Jesus is God (He is) and we follow Him shouldn't we honor His Commands? I am not saying we will do anything perfectly. I am not saying we cannot be forgiven. I am saying if we truly follow Him let us honor Him.
