"God Works In Our Lives" Text

The Lord was looking out for me before I even believed in Him. He got me through all those painful feelings before I even knew He existed. He was there before I understood anything. After I believed, I still had a lot to learn. I still have a lot to learn. But some things I know. The Lord protected me when there was no other way. I was hit by a car when I was in my electric wheelchair. The car hit me hard enough that the whole wheelchair fell to the street. My only injury was a broken right arm and a small wound on my right arm. My left hand was on the control. The control was destroyed but my left arm was completely uninjured. My legs were under the car but my legs were completely uninjured. There were several times my wheelchair moved while transportation was moving. One of the times I had minor injuries after sliding into a seat. The other times I was completely uninjured. Several times when coming down the steep ramp my wheelchair tipped forward. But it went back and I was completely uninjured. Two times the ramp broke under me. My neck is fused and not stable. I could have been paralyzed but I was completely uninjured. Last year, my crutch slid away from me. There was no one here. There was nothing I could grab. I said "God!". A one word prayer. I was steadied and able to walk safely into the other room. That could only be God. Last year, the motor on my wheelchair was not working right. The wheelchair would move even when my hand was not touching anything. I almost ran into things several times but I did not run into things. This year, my crutch slid away from me. I was falling full force toward the wall. I said "God!". I did not fall and did not get injured. That could only be God. Miracles are not always huge events that others know about. God works in our lives. Sometimes we know it. Sometimes we do not.
