"God's Law Is Right" Text

God's Law is right. His Law is everlasting. It was not done away with. We are not commanded to do all the ceremonial laws and rituals of the Old Covenant. But the Commandments of the Lord are God's Law. They are commanded for all followers of the True God. The One that became known as Jesus is the One that gave the Commandments. All Ten Commandments are still commanded. Jesus did not do away with even one of them. (Matthew 5:17-19) Jesus said if we love Him keep His Commandments. (John 14:15, John 14:21, John 14:23, John 15:14) In Matthew 19:17-19, Jesus said if we want to enter life keep the Commandments. Jesus listed some of the Ten Commandments. God's Law was not nailed to the cross. The penalty for our sins was nailed to the cross. Jesus made the Commandments more binding. He got to the Heart of it. We need to realize God's Law is right. It is Holy. It shows us the right way to live. Jesus said why do we call Him Lord but do not do what He says.  (Luke 6:46) Jesus said not everyone that calls Him Lord will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. (Matthew 7:21) Think about that. We have to do the Will of the Father. We have to keep the Commandments. We need to ask His Forgiveness every time we break His Commandments. We will not be perfect. Repent then try again. Are we followers of the Lord? Let us honor the Lord by following His Law.
