"Drained But Determined" Text
Have you ever felt drained but determined? I don't mean exhausted because you did too much. I don't mean tired because you didn't get enough sleep. I mean so physically drained just walking in your home takes an extreme amount of effort. I'm talking about feeling so drained you feel like you have no energy at all. Being so drained that just staying awake is hard. It can be because of heavy emotions. It can be because of constant health issues. It can be because of both at the same time. That's how I feel every day. Some days are a little better. Some days are a lot worse. Constant physical pain is draining. Overwhelming emotions is draining. This physical disability has me very limited. That is draining. Most days all I want to do is sleep. I don't feel up to doing anything. It isn't usually an emotional thing. Some days, I give in and barely do anything. Many may think I don't do much any day. But they don't see my constant struggle. There is a lot I can't do. But I try to do what I can. I try to help how I can. I try not to let how I feel physically or emotionally stop me from working on the projects the Lord has for me. I take things one day at a time trying to do the best I can. If you feel like this physically or emotionally, I understand. It is rough just to get through the day. Hang in there. Keep doing what you can. Try not to let others get to you. It is hard to understand if you don't experience it yourself. Stay determined to do what you can. Pray about the rest. Pray about everything. If I didn't believe in the Lord, I would not make it. What little strength I have comes from Him. I may not know you but I can still pray for you. Praying for others is one of the things the Lord has on my heart.
