"Depression Is A Fight" Text

Some do not realize how deep depression can get. Not all depression is the same. Everyone gets sad sometimes. Everyone gets mad sometimes. Sometimes something or someone can make us feel depressed. That is not the same as deep down depression. Deep down depression is overwhelming. It feels like you are stuck in a pit and can't get out. That kind of depression is a fight. We win some battles. But we lose some battles. It is easy to get stuck in depression. Depression is a fight. It is a fight just to try to do normal things. It is a fight to keep going. If we keep fighting, that is a huge win. Whatever you are going through, please do not give up. Keep fighting even when it is hard. Keep fighting even when it feels hopeless. Please reach out to someone. I pray for the depressed. I don't only pray for ones I know. So I am praying for you.
