"Commandments" text

I talk a lot about the Commandments. The Commandants are Holy and Right. Because we are sinful we will never do the Commandments perfectly. There are Commandments that are not for everyone. But the Ten Commandments are for everyone. If we are truly followers of the Lord we should strive to obey Him. Many say they follow Jesus. The One Who became Jesus is the One that gave the Commandments. No one has seen God the Father. The One that became Jesus was seen in the Old Testament. He is the One that gave the Ten Commandments. In the New Testament, Jesus said if we love Him keep His Commandments. (John 14:15) He said why do we call Him Lord and do not do what He says (Luke 6:46) He said those that do the Will of His Father will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. (Matthew 7:21) Jesus gave the Ten Commandments. Jesus taught all Ten Commandments are important. Are we going by the Teachings of Jesus? Or are we going by the teachings of people? Being a Christ follower means imitating Christ. Every one of us has fallen short. Every one of us will fall short. But who (or Who) are we trying to please? If we want to please the Lord, we need to strive to do as He taught us. Read His Word, the Bible, to know what He actually taught.
