"Are We Followers Or Are We Believers" Text:

A follower is a believer but a believer is not always a follower. Many say they believe in Jesus. It is great to believe in Him. But do we trust in Him? Do we follow Him? Many believe in Jesus but still do things the way they want to. Following Jesus is more than just believing He is. Following Jesus is more than believing He is Who He said He is. Following Jesus is more. It is deeper. To be a follower is more of a commitment than being a believer. A follower will make mistakes. We all make mistakes. A follower will slip up at times. We all slip up at times. None of us are perfect. Only Jesus is Perfect. We can be forgiven when we sin if we ask for forgiveness with a sincere heart. We can never fool the Lord. Many believe but do not follow. A follower bases things on what the Bible says. Even when no one understands, a follower still goes by God's Word and tries to please Him. We need to examine ourselves. Are we followers or are we believers?
