Tikvat Yisrael Messianic Synagogue Bible Study Notes for November 20th:

***Book of Ezekiel*** Gottlieb Beit Midrash 5786 -

Scripture: Ezekiel 6-7

In Verse 8, God said He will leave a remnant.

Revelation 7

God leaves a remnant.

Romans 9

Romans 11

God has not rejected His people.

God is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Repentance brings righteousness.

God never changes.

God chose Israel through Abraham.

Israel is the chosen but not all Israel.

It is the remnant of God.

Gentiles have been grafted in.

The spiritual favor of blessings through repentance can be for anyone.

Numbers 34:46

Numbers 1:14

Jeremiah 39

The tradition of passing down the Scriptures was kept faithfully.

The writers of the New Testament were not quoting from the Hebrew Bible.

They were quoting from the Septuagint (the earliest Greek translation).

In Chapter 7,  the end means God’s Judgment and Wrath.

The four corners of the land mean the four corners of the Earth.

No one will be excluded.

Genesis 35

Many prophets refer to the end times.

Deuteronomy 4:26

Matthew 24:3

Revelation 7:1

2 Kings 25:1

Acts 11:5-

To the extent you turn your back on God, God turns His Back on you.

What happened in Ezekiel 7 parallels what will happen in days to come.

The Jews being scattered is a way to preserve them and is a Way of God’s Grace.

Zechariah 13:7

Isaiah 11

The fruit of wickedness is sin and death.

There is going to come a time where our sin is ready for judgement.

Judgement is coming.

The only prophets that warned Israel were Jeremiah and Ezekiel.

No one was listening.

When the Messiah comes there will be sounds of the shofar.

It will come at a time when no one expects it.
