"Be Thankful" Text

It is easy to think of what we don't have. It is easy to think of what we want. How about we think about what we do have? Do you have a place to live? Be thankful if you do. Do you have electricity? Be thankful if you do. Do you have food to eat and clothes to wear? Be thankful if you do. Do you have a family that loves you? Be thankful if you do. Do you have people that support you? Be thankful if you do. Can you walk on your own? Be thankful if you can. Can you do average daily things without help? Be thankful if you can. There is nothing wrong with wanting things we don't have. It is not right to covet after what someone else has but there is nothing wrong with wanting things. We should not dwell on the things we don't have. We should spend more time being thankful for what we do have. We should spend more time being thankful for what we can do. Remember many don't have what we have. Some have no home or have a home without. Some have no food to eat and no clothes to wear. Some have no family and no support. Some can't get out of bed. Some didn't wake up today. Let's be thankful for what we can do and do have. Let us thank the Lord for all the good things and good people in our lives.
