I think of You
I talk to You
Throughout the day

Spoken out loud
Or silently in my thoughts

Love Much

I don't think so
Can you care too much
Not in my opinion
Love is unconditional
At least it should be
Be patient with others
Is that really so hard
Hate is hard
Love is easy
Is it so hard to love

Won't Change Me

Break my heart
Keep breaking my heart
Use me and mistreat me
Talk behind my back
Ignore me
And act like I'm not there
But you won't change me
I'll keep my heart on my sleeve
I will give all I can
I'll do whatever I can
I won't stop caring
And won't stop sharing
This next poem was inspired by my character Ty. I dedicate it to anyone dealing with abuse or dealing with any kind of pain. May the Lord bring you comfort and protection.

Been there
Done that
Think I've seen it all
I've seen more than most
I've been weak
Still feel weak sometimes
I'm starting to come
Out of the dark
Heading for the light
Looking for love
Trying to let love in
And trying to love back
After what I've seen
And hearing what I've heard
It's not easy to let you in
Still unsure so many times
Afraid of more heartache
Love is around
I think I feel it
I'm trying
If it's not too much to ask
Be patient with me

I know life can be tough
I feel it too
Sometimes it's so hard
And you're full of pain
That you don't know what to do
You gotta be strong
And you can't give up
I know it's hard
Very Hard
I know how that feels
But somehow you got to do it
You got to get the strength
People tell me I'm strong
But I don't see it
I don't know maybe they're right
But please just hang in there
