"Make the most of today"
Why are you here?
Why are you really here?
One of the key reasons for going to Service is to hear the Word of God explained to us.
Be there and listen.
Taking notes is a good practice.
Every speaker is different.
We're all different.
We absorb information in different ways.
Sometimes what we hear is based on what we are going through.
We hear things based on what God wants us to hear at times.
We hear things based on what we are going through at the moment.
We tend to forget.
That's why we have to be told things over again.
It's a process.
Isaiah 55:3
Incline our ear means to listen consciously and willingly.
Turn into what's being said.
Pay attention and incline our ear.
We should try to leave the past week at the door.
Leave them at the door so they are not running through out minds.
It's easier said than done.
We need to be doers and not just hearers.
We can't just hear.
We have to do.
James 1:22-
God expects us to learn from the messages, to process them, and to put them in our lives.
We need to practice what we are taught to the point it is part of us.
We won't remember it all but we should try.

We should pray for each other's safety.
New year celebrations are from pagan sources.
We live in this world so it is not wrong to use the roman calendar.
John 17:17
Sermon:
"Faith in the unbelievable"
It rains on the just and the unjust.
We need to cry out to God.
Mathew 10:16
We don't have to worry how we will answer accusations.
God will give us the words to answer.
There will be challenging times ahead for God's people.
We see corruption and perversion.
Some people will doubt.
We need to have faith.
We need to have endurance.
We're going to need faith.
We're going to need to trust God.
God said He will never leave us or forsake us.
Sometimes God works in ways that don't make sense.
Sometimes God works in ways that are unimaginable.
Because we have rejected the Creator and His Laws the blessings will be taken away.
They are begining to be taken away.
We need to know God is there.
God will deliver His people but not always the way we expect.
Habakkuk 1:2-
Sometimes it seems we cry out to God and He doesn't hear.
Look out and watch.
It's going to astound us how things are going to work out.
In Bible prophecy God has revealed what will happen.
Many will be deceived by the miracles.
Earthquakes are being prophesied that will move countries.
People are starving.
How God does things sometimes is hard for us to wrap our head around.
God certainly doesn't stick to what's normal.
It requires us to have faith.
Do we truly believe God's Word?
Do we trust God knows what He's doing?
Do we trust our calling?
Do we trust Christ is the Head?
Sometimes we become the problem.
Hebrews 3:13
We need to be careful not to doubt God is in charge.
A lack of belief can lead to rejecting God.
James 1:6
We need to be careful not to let our minds be affected by doubt.
When we are doubting we are not steady on our feet.
It is human of us to doubt.
All of us have allowed doubt in our heart.
Genesis 15
Sometimes we take things in our hands.
Things end up the wrong way.
Genesis 18
Is anything too hard for God?
Why do we put limits on God?
When we are in a situation we start looking for ways and put limits on God.
God knows our heart.
What do we do when we have doubts?
We need to realize we are limited.
We need to go to God.
Mark 9
We need to claim God's Promises.
Look at the Scriptures and be encouraged.
That's the Promises of God.
We need to believe that.
Faith is believing what you don't see.
Hebrews 11:1
We got to have faith in that.
So often we limit what God can
We underestimate God's Love for His people.
Ephesians 3:20
So often we limit God.
We limit our prayers when we limit God.
Do we limit that God can do?
Sometimes we limit tomorrow because we can only see today.
Matthew 14:13-
We can't see past what's happening around us.
We're limiting God with our unbelief.
That's a sin we need to repent of.
We need to have faith God will work it out in His Time.
The window's mite given to God can become great.
Walk by faith then God will open the doors.
We need to remember God is bigger than my problem.
Do not put God in a box and limit what He can do.
Jeremiah 17:5
At the end of the day physical flesh only goes so far.
God is the One we look to for blessings.
When we surrender to Jesus the doubts begin to vanish.
We can't put limits on God.
We need to be careful that we don't start judging God.
Who's in charge?
We must have the faith to trust in God the Father and Jesus Christ.
God doesn't lose control.
God through the Holy Spirit has to be our comfort and confidence.
Luke 5:1-
God goes above and beyond.
Jesus is the Creator of all things.
Obedience unlocks the unexpected.
We need to surrender to Jesus.
Know that Jesus is in change.
God is in charge.
God chooses unlikely people.
He uses average people.
Put our trust in God.
We have to trust God is guiding things according to His plan.
There is not much more time before Christ returns.
Put our trust and confidence in Him.
Habakkuk 3:17-
We can have faith in the unbelievable.
God will be there.
1 Corinthians 2:9
Never lose our perspective.
Never forget Who is in charge of the universe.
Who are we to limit God?
