***Book of Ezekiel*** Gottlieb Beit Midrash 5786 -
Scripture: Ezekiel 3-4
Ezekiel is a representative of God to Israel.
The forehead is a symbol of God’s Anointing or God’s Spirit.
Without the Lord’s anointing we won’t be as successful.
Isaiah 50:5
Luke 9:51
Messianic Judaism is to reach the Jewish people first.
We have to have the anointing and never give up.
A Prophet may not hold back his prophecy.
Sin hurts many more than just the sinner.
It is like a stone being thrown in a pond.
It ripples out.
Ezekiel was stunned silent.
Zechariah was stunned silent.
Luke 1
They experienced the Lord’s Holiness.
Eight symbolizes dedication.
It symbolizes new beginnings.
Job 2:11-13
Seven means completion.
Six is not complete.
It is symbolic of the rebellion of man.
We need a soft heart to get right with God.
Hebrews 6
Matthew 7
Yeshua said in John 7 if you don’t believe I am Who I am you will die in your sins.
If the righteous turn against the Lord their good deeds will not be remembered.
Proverbs 10:7
Psalm 112:6
The Lord will not let a righteous person head down a certain path.
Yeshua said everything hidden in darkness will be brought to the light.
Proverbs 24:13
God disciplines His children to correct us to get us to repent.
The Lord will rescue us and bring us back.
As believers we want to finish well.
We claim that to be believers represent the Messiah.
Your sins will find you out.
We all sin.
Every day we fall short.
We immediately repent.
We get right with God as quickly as possible.
Our righteousness is of Yeshua.
Torah is not just Law.
It is God’s Teaching.
Satan is always anti everything to God.
He mimics God.
