***Book of Ezekiel*** Gottlieb Beit Midrash 5786 -
Scripture: Ezekiel 23-24
This is about infidelity to God.
The prophet used language like an adulterous wife or a harlot.
It is primarily about God’s relationship to Israel and Judah.
In Jerusalem is where God’s Name dwelled.
The word Samaria here is referring to the ten tribes of Israel.
2 King 15:19
They were making alliances instead of relying on God.
Israel was to be separate from other nations.
When we look like the world we profane the Name of God.

Even though Ezekiel 23 and 24 are full of judgment and wrath, there is a silver lining.
Yeshua’s Kingdom will last forever.
He is going to make it right.
While man will mourn, God sees the big picture.
We have the hope in the resurrection.
