“The Lord’s Holy Days Have Real Meaning” Text

The Lord’s Holy Days have real meaning. In the Old Testament, Passover was when the sacrificed lamb’s blood was placed on the Israelites houses so God would pass over their houses and spare the firstborns in that house. In the New Testament, Passover points to Christ shedding His Blood to save us. In the Old Testament, Feast Of Unleavened Bread is getting leaven out of our homes for seven days. In the New Testament, Feast Of Unleavened Bread points to us removing pride and sin from our lives.  In the Old Testament, Feast Of Weeks (known as Shavuot and Pentecost) was fifty days after Passover and celebrated gathering in the harvest. In the New Testament, this Holy Day points to the day the Lord gave the Holy Spirit. In the Old Testament, Feast Of Trumpets (known as Rosh Hashanah) was a day of rejoicing marked by the blowing of trumpets. In the New Testament, this Holy Day points to a time of war and plagues that ends with Christ's Second Coming. In the Old Testament, Day of Atonement (known as Yom Kippur) is a day of fasting and repentance. In the New Testament, this Holy Day pictures the binding of Satan at the beginning of the Millennium and the world becoming at one with God. In the Old Testament, Feast of Tabernacles (known as Sukkot) is a celebration when people dwell in temporary housing for seven days. In the New Testament, this Holy Day points to the Millennium when the earth will be ruled by Jesus and His saints, In the New Testament, the Last Great Day is immediately after the Feast of Tabernacles. This eighth day is considered a separate Feast. In the New Testament, this Holy Day points to the Great White Throne Judgment after the Millennium (Leviticus 23; 1 Corinthians 11:23–34; Luke 22:14–23; 1 Corinthians 5:6–8; John 6:4, 31–58; Acts 2; Revelation 6:17; 8:1–13; 9:1–21; 11:15; Isaiah 34:8; 63:4; Leviticus 16:6–10, 21–26; Revelation 20:1–3; Revelation 20:4–6; Zechariah 14:16–21; Isaiah 11:1–16; John 7:37–39; Revelation 20:11–13; Matthew 11:21–24; 12:41–42) Christmas and easter do not mean what most believe they do. If you want to honor the Lord, honor His Holy Days.
