"God Is Love But He Is Holy"

"God Is Love But He Is Holy" Text

God is Love. But He is also Holy. The Lord shows us mercy every day. Each breath and heartbeat depends on the Lord. The Lord is the reason we wake up in the morning. The Lord gives us blessings and mercy. He is a Loving God. But He is also Perfect and Holy. Holiness cannot tolerate sin. The Lord has given us free will. He will not make us choose Him. He draws us but He will not force us. That would not be freewill. The Lord will not make us choose His Ways. The Lord does not want anyone to perish. He wants all to come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9) Every one of us has sinned and does sin. (Romans 3:23) Sin is the transgression of God's Holy Law. (1 John 3:4) But we can be forgiven. We have to confess to God and sincerely ask for forgiveness. (1 John 1:9) God knows if we are sincere. We will continue to slip up while we are in the flesh. But we need to aim at following the Lord and His Ways. Many things cause us to sin even when we want to do right. When we sin, don't try to hide it. We can't hide anything from the Lord. Confess to the Lord and ask for forgiveness with a sincere heart. Then continue to follow the Lord and His Ways. We won't be perfect but we should get better at obeying Him.
