Ascension Day ~ 42 Day of the Omer

Counting the Omer is Biblical. (Leviticus 23:9–21) Yeshua (Jesus) said He would be in the heart of the Earth for three days and three nights. (Matthew 12:40; John 2:19) Genesis 1 shows days are evening then morning. Yeshua (Jesus) was put in the grave just before the start of a new day. He was crucified on a Wednesday as prophesied. (Daniel 9:26-27) Yeshua (Jesus) is our Passover Lamb. He was crucified on the 14th of the first month (Abib/Nisan). He was resurrected on the 17th of the first month. Exactly three days and three nights as He said. His resurrection was on the second day of the counting of the Omer. For forty days, Yeshua (Jesus) showed Himself to people. (Acts 1:3, 9) He appeared to over 500 after His Resurrection. Yeshua (Jesus) ascended on the 42nd day of the Omer count. Today is the 42nd day of the Omer count. Today is Ascension Day. Praise the Lord!
