Today is the 17th of Nisan. In 2026, that is Saturday April 4th. At exactly 3 p.m. on the 17th of Nisan (exactly 72 hours after the Crucifixion) was the Resurrection of Jesus. He is Risen!  (graphic posted at https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=4094991660645788&set=a.671234816354840 )

This Sabbath is extra special. This seventh day Sabbath is the 17th of Nisan (also known as Abib). According to the Bible, Yeshua (Jesus) was resurrected on the 17th of Nisan. At 3 p.m. on the 17th of Nisan, He was risen. Let us honor the Lord by honoring His Commanded Sabbath and the resurrection of Yeshua (Jesus).

Many are aware of the weekly seventh day Sabbath. The Bible also lists High Sabbaths that can be any day of the week. (Leviticus 23) The first day of the Lord's Commanded Feast of Unleavened Bread is a High Sabbath. The day of the Lord's Passover is the preparation day for that High Sabbath. (John 19:31) The last day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread is also a High Sabbath. There are several Sabbaths in the Bible.
