“My Writing Has Branched Out” Text 

The Lord has blessed me with many writing ideas and books over the years. I do not take credit for the ideas. I would have none of them if it was not for the Lord. Every writing idea is a gift from the Lord. Every book published is a blessing from the Lord. The Lord gets all the Glory. I kept thinking about how my writing seems to have slowed down last year and this year. Now, I am thinking I was putting too much pressure on myself. Through the years, my writing was mostly realistic fiction. Mostly it has been stories with characters. My Characters are still my favorite part of writing. I may not have had as many fictional stories lately but my writing has branched out in new ways. I rarely write poetry but I have published three poetry books since last year. I did not used to write many children’s books but since last year a lot of what I have published has been children’s books. I give the Lord credit for each and every one of those books. Last year, the Lord gave my writing a new direction. I do not really think of these ‘spoken word’ messages as writing but they are. They are my words with the Leading of the Lord. I never pick the message. I feel He gives me the topic then He helps me write it. Sometimes, He gives me the title first. My writing has not slowed down. My writing has branched out. I still write fiction when the ideas come. I have written some poetry and some children's books. It seems my main writing assignment now is these messages. Whatever the genre, I hope my writing can inspire, comfort, and encourage.
