Nate tells his brother Michael there are five 8-year-old boys that need a foster home. Kye and Ty were taken from abusive homes. Jye's mother died. He never knew his father. John James' parents died in a car accident. Gabriel's parents took their lives. Michael says he will foster the five boys. Kye is angry. Ty often apologies without knowing why. Nate finds out his brother Chris is Jye's father. Nate learns he is Kye's father. Michael, Nate, Chris, Kye, Jye, John James, Gabriel, and Ty live at Michael's house. Ten years later, they all still live at Michael's. Ty continues to struggle with why people care. Gabriel is a strong empath. John James becomes a Pastor. Jye is protective of Ty, Gabriel, and John James. Kye continues to be angry but is protective of Ty, Gabriel, and John James.
