"How Do I Let It Go" Text

How do I let it go when it hurts so much? How do I stop dwelling on things people have done that have made me mad or sad? How do I stop rehashing things that have hurt me? Have you ever asked yourself that? It is not easy to let go of things when they hurt so much. It is not easy to stop dwelling on things people have done. It is not easy to stop rehashing things. We think I should have or I could have. Or we think they should have. But that does not change things. So how do we move on? I am not sure I am the best to answer those questions. My emotions are all over the place sometimes. We need to realize holding on to it is not hurting the other person. It is only causing us pain. It is hard to let go of pain. After we realize we are only hurting ourself we have to decide we want to let it go. It starts with the decision to let it go. It may take time to let it go. It may keep returning to our thoughts. When the thoughts come let us not dwell on the thoughts. Let us keep trying. Let us keep praying. Letting go takes time. When we let it go, we can have peace.

Fictional Characters and Real Pets
