Kye is sitting on the couch. His feet are on the coffee table. Gabriel walks over. Kye looks at him.

GABRIEL

I care about you.

KYE

You do huh?

GABRIEL

Yes.

Kye takes his feet off the table then stands up.

KYE

Why?

GABRIEL

Do I need a reason to care?

KYE

Yes.

GABRIEL

I care because you are a person. I don't need any other reason.

KYE

Yes you do.

GABRIEL

I'm not like your parents.

KYE

You're not like anyone I've ever met.

John James walks over.

JOHN JAMES

You may not understand that we care about you but we do care about you.

Ty walks over. Gabriel turns to face him.

GABRIEL

I care about you.

TY

You care about me?

GABRIEL

Yes.

John James turns to face Ty.

JOHN JAMES

We both care about you.

Jye walks over.

GABRIEL

I care about all of you.

JOHN JAMES

We all do.

Michael walks over. They look at him.

MICHAEL

I love all five of you.

GABRIEL

I love you too.

JOHN JAMES

I love you too.

KYE

You love us?

MICHAEL

Yes.

TY

You love me?

MICHAEL

Yes.
