"Devoted Belief" revolves around Church and family. John James (18) is a Pastor. Ty (18) fixes and builds things. Gabriel (18) works part time at the hospital. "Devoted Belief" starts off with Gabriel telling John James about the Sabbath. Gabriel becomes friends with John James, Ty, and their brother (Nick, 9). When Gabriel and Ty are hurt in a fire John James' parents (Jase and Olivia) insist Gabriel stay there since his parents are never around. One day at the hospital, Chris (Jase's brother) hears Gabriel's father tell Gabriel he is not his father. Chris learns he knew Gabriel's mother and has Gabriel tested. Chris is Gabriel's birth father. Jase, Olivia, Chris, Chris's son (Jye, 18), John James, Gabriel, Ty, and Nick stay at Jase's house. Gabriel and Ty always try to help others. Wayne watches over them without them knowing.
