Your parents were even worse to you than my stepfather was to me. Why aren't you angry?


TY

I always thought I deserved it.


Gabriel walks over. They look at him.


GABRIEL

You never deserve for someone to be mean to you. No one deserves to be abused.


KYE

How are you so sweet?


GABRIEL

I'm not that sweet.


KYE

Seriously? You are ridiculously sweet. You both are.


GABRIEL

Ridiculously sweet?


TY

I'm not sweet.


KYE

You both are ridiculously sweet.
