He still hasn’t realized that. Thirteen years of abuse is a lot to overcome. Especially when it started as a baby.


GABRIEL

Physical wounds heal faster.


Michael walks over.


TY

I know all of you care about me but I still don’t understand why.


With his right hand, Michael rubs Ty’s left shoulder.


MICHAEL

I know, my son.
