EXT. – PLAYGROUND – NEXT DAY, 2 P.M.


Ty runs over to a deep hole in the ground. He jumps in.


NICK, 4, almost shoulder length straight blond hair, blue eyes, dressed in a long sleeve blue and red shirt, black jeans, and black tennis shoes, is sitting at the bottom. He is crying.


TY

It’s going to be okay.


Nick looks at Ty.


GABRIEL (O.C.)

Grab the vine.


TY

What vine?


A long vine is lowered. Ty kneels.


TY

Get on my back.


Nick climbs on Ty’s back.


TY

Hold on.


Nick wraps his arms around Ty’s neck.


TY

If you start to slip let me know.


Ty grabs the vine. With Nick on his back, Ty climbs the vine. Ty climbs to the top. Gabriel is holding the vine.


Wayne is standing by a tree. He is watching them.


Ty kneels. Nick lets go then gets off Ty’s back. Ty stands up. Gabriel lets go of the vine.


JEREMY, 18, shoulder length somewhat wavy dark blond hair, blue eyes, dressed in a long sleeve blue shirt, black jeans, and black tennis shoes, runs over.


JEREMY

Nick!


Gabriel and Ty run off.


JEREMY

Wait!


ZACK, 20, short blond hair, blue eyes, dressed in a long sleeve dark blue shirt, black jeans, and black tennis shoes, runs over.


JERRY, 20, almost shoulder length straight brown hair, blue eyes, dressed in a long sleeve red shirt, black jeans, and black tennis shoes, runs over.


JERRY

Nick, are you okay?


Jeremy picks Nick up.


NICK
