INT. – MICHAEL’S HOUSE – EIGHT HOURS LATER

Michael watches as Ty walks over.

TY

Do you ever regret not having kids of your own?

MICHAEL

What are you talking about? The five of you are my kids.

TY

You adopted us.

MICHAEL

Yes.

TY

You could have had kids that were.

MICHAEL

You are my kids.

Michael puts his hands on Ty’s cheeks.

MICHAEL

You are my kids and I love you. I love the five of you very much.

Michael puts his hands down.

MICHAEL

I have no regrets. I am very thankful that I adopted each of you.

TY

You are?

MICHAEL

Yes I am.
